Our story
Born out of messy delivery spreadsheets
ProjectPulse was founded in London by former product and engineering leaders who had spent years wrestling with spreadsheets, ticketing tools, and long slide decks just to answer a simple question: “Are we on track?” The team saw talented startups lose momentum not because their ideas were weak, but because the tools they relied on to plan and communicate simply could not keep up with the pace of change.
Rather than building yet another generic task tracker, we set out to create a shared workspace where product, engineering, revenue, and operations can see the same picture of delivery in real time. ProjectPulse was designed from day one to act as a calm, reliable heartbeat for modern startups — surfacing risks early, highlighting momentum, and giving leaders the confidence to make bold decisions.
Today we partner with founders and teams across the UK and Europe, blending thoughtful design, robust engineering, and opinionated onboarding to help them replace frantic last-minute updates with steady, transparent progress.

Why startups choose ProjectPulse
There is no shortage of project management tools. What is rare is a platform that respects the pace, constraints, and ambition of early-stage and scaling startups. We built ProjectPulse specifically for teams who need clarity without bureaucracy, and visibility without constant manual updates.
Our product roadmap is shaped by weekly conversations with founders, product leaders, and delivery managers across the UK. That means you get a solution that evolves alongside the realities of building and scaling software businesses in one of the most competitive ecosystems in the world.
Exceptionally user-friendly
We obsess over reducing friction. From day one, ProjectPulse was built to feel instantly familiar to product and engineering teams. No dense configuration screens, no heavy admin layer — just clear language, intuitive navigation, and a workspace that adapts to the rituals you already run.
Real-time collaboration by design
Work rarely happens in isolation. ProjectPulse keeps everyone aligned with live status streams, smart mentions, and context-rich updates that flow directly into Slack. This means fewer ad-hoc pings and more structured, asynchronous communication between squads and stakeholders.
Decision-ready reporting
Leadership should not need to build their own dashboards just to understand delivery. Our reporting layer distils thousands of data points into accessible insights on throughput, bottlenecks, and roadmap health, so you can make confident calls in board meetings or investor updates.
Commitment to customer success
We treat every customer relationship as a partnership. Dedicated onboarding support, playbooks adapted to your context, and regular check-ins ensure that ProjectPulse continues to fit as your startup scales and your operating model evolves.
